How we handle your personal information

This policy applies to miiot.com and its subdomains (the "Site"). Guangzhou Miiot Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("we") processes personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Cybersecurity Law and the Data Security Law of the PRC, and applicable foreign laws.

1. What we collect. Only what you provide or what is necessary to operate the Site: name, company, phone, email and your message submitted through the inquiry form; and technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and referring channel collected by analytics. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, biometric data or financial account details.

2. How we use it. To respond to inquiries and provide quotations, improve the Site, keep the Site and network secure, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or unrelated purposes.

3. Sharing and disclosure. We do not sell personal information. The Site is currently fully static: it uses no third-party analytics, advertising or social plug-ins, and loads all assets from its own domain, so no personal information is disclosed to third parties except as required by our hosting and email providers. If we later introduce further providers, we will list them here with the data fields involved and bind each to confidentiality and data processing terms.

4. Retention and location. Inquiry records are kept for 24 months and access logs for 6 months, unless a longer period is required by law. Data is stored within the PRC in principle.

5. Cross-border transfers. The Site currently uses no overseas analytics, font or CDN services, so browsing it does not transfer your personal information outside the PRC. If we later introduce overseas providers, we will rely on the mechanisms under Article 38 of the PIPL — security assessment, certification, filing of standard contractual clauses or your separate consent — and list the providers and purposes here.

6. Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies operate the Site; analytics and functional cookies are set only with your consent, which you can change via "Cookie Settings" in the footer. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect basic browsing.

7. Your rights. You may access, copy, correct, delete or withdraw consent, and request an explanation of our processing rules. Use the details in the footer or email 87305746@qq.com; we respond within 15 working days.

8. Minors. The Site targets business users and is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 14 without prior parental consent, we will stop processing and delete it promptly.

9. Security. We apply HTTPS encryption, access controls, least privilege, log auditing and backups, and will notify you and the authorities if a breach occurs.

10. Updates. We will post the revised policy on this page with a new date, and notify you of material changes.
